Congratulations to Giordano de Guglielmo on receiving the Animal Research and Ethics Committee (AREC) Annual Award from the Research Society on Alcoholism (RSA) at the 49th Annual RSA Scientific Meeting, held in San Antonio, Texas, June 20–24, 2026.
The AREC Annual Award recognizes individuals who demonstrate outstanding commitment to the ethical, rigorous, and humane conduct of alcohol-related animal research. The award highlights not only scientific excellence, but also the responsibility and care with which research is conducted and the essential contribution of animals to advancing our understanding of Alcohol Use Disorder.
