Lab Undergraduate Intern Wendy Lou Presents Research at SACNAS

Our undergraduate intern, Wendy Lou, presented her research at the SACNAS UC San Diego Science Showcase on February 23, 2026, held in the Natural Sciences Building. This premier and inclusive annual event features student research posters, STEM navigation workshops, and networking opportunities, fostering community and professional growth among students in science.

Wendy’s poster, titled “Enhancing Addiction Severity Prediction by Modulating GABAergic Activity in the Central Amygdala of RATTACA Rats,” highlights innovative work examining neural mechanisms underlying addiction severity. Her presentation contributed to the event’s mission of showcasing diverse scientific research and supporting the next generation of scientists.
